Gardens of Keith Davitt & Partners is a hands-on, full service operation.  With over thirty years of experience building gardens and landscapes we have found that we can bring a garden to completion anywhere. When we travel to another location we are always able to provide the resources necessary to implement a landscape at the highest level regardless of location or complexity.

Because we have personally built so many gardens over the years we are effective in communicating with other professionals to get the job done. When there is a special situation, placing extremely heavy stones, for example, or getting large materials through or over buildings, we have always found the way to solve the problem well.

We needed precise placement of these 1500 to 2200 lb. stones in order to create a natural looking Artesian well-spring. It couldn't be don by hand, so we found someone who repairs large, ocean-going vessels. Together we worked out a design and he built this machine. It comes apart into four pieces and can be carried through a narrow building by two people. The hoist slides along the length of the horizontal beam, which pivots 160 degrees. With it we were able to create this seemingly indigenous water feature.

Working with the right professionals, we hoisted these specifically designed and specially constructed iron arbors over the building in order to place them behind a Brownstone, (there was no way to get them through), and built another hoist to lower them down the other side. Landscape Lighting

Landscape lighting is an invaluable contribution to a beautiful garden and a garden is not complete without it.  However, when left to other contractors it is often done poorly. We bring beautiful illumination to the gardens we create without imposing a garish, ineffective or simply inappropriate lighting design. The point is not lights, it is illumination, on and within the beautiful plants, features and spaces which comprise your landscape.

Notice how light defines the spaces and illuminates the features without calling attention to the lights.
